Planned maintenance to our smartcard system is scheduled on Saturday August 7th between 08:00 and 14:00 – during this time you can purchase Smartcard tickets from but will not be able to collect your ticket until after 14:00 - Tickets purchased prior to this time can still be loaded to Touch Smartcards at our Gates and Ticket vending machines. Travel using your Touch Smartcard is not affected.

Collect your ticket from the station

Tickets can be collected from one of the network of self service ticket machines at many stations. Click here to check locations.

Please note the following:

  • Tickets are ready for collection 1 hour after booking.
  • Please remember to take the same credit or debit card used to make the booking as you will need this to collect your tickets.  Failure to do so may result in being asked to buy a new set of tickets in order to travel.
  • Please do not pay for your tickets with an e-Card as these are not accepted by self service ticket machines.
  • Please remember to bring your unique Booking Reference, as this may be required before your tickets will be dispensed.
  • Please remember to collect all coupons. You will receive your tickets, a receipt and seat reservation coupons if seats have been reserved. Advance tickets are only valid when presented with the mandatory reservation coupons.
  • It is only possible to use Ticket on Departure at the stations listed, otherwise please select an alternative delivery method or purchase your ticket from a station.
